This week’s Art Critique is with Academy members Jacqueline Quinn and Kathleen Ainscough. In this video you will learn the following:
-We can learn how to resolve current paintings from looking at our past work
-If we have just 3 or 4 differences in a painting we can really exaggerate the differences and exploit things like color, texture and composition
-Empty areas look great with something very different in them
-If we want to make our art noticeable we need contrast in values
