This month, Nicholas interviews Kerry Schroeder, where they discuss her transition from a seemingly very different style of art to what it is today. This interview is about following intuition and our hearts to make authentic work.

• What’s important and interesting to us in life can greatly inform our work.
• We can get frustrated thinking we don’t know what we’re doing, but it’s there—we just have to follow what feels the most right.
• We don’t know where our work is headed, but when we look back it’s obvious. The hints are most likely there, but it can take time to gain clarity.
